Ph.D. Candidate in Anthropology and Education

Columbia University in the City of New York

I am an anthropologist with a research focus on the aspirations and consequences of language learning. My works explore how language learners create new domains of knowledge and develop innovative ways to engage with language.

My current project looks into the intersection of language endangerment, performance, and aging in the context of China.

I am the third-year doctoral fellow in the Programs in Anthropology at Teachers College, Columbia University. I earned my B. A. degree summa cum laude in French, Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College in 2022.
